I don't know how Y2K problem will affect everything. Boy, that's a good question. One of these days I'm going to go over to the Y2K thread and see what they think. I've wondered, as a trader, is there $$$ in Y2K stocks? Whatever $$ there is, it should be gone come 2000. What kind of business would you invest in that disappears in 16 months? Also, I think companies would be better off investing in new computer/information technology rather than in legacy systems. 10 year old computer systems and software are not worth the Y2K investment IMHO. However, I'm sure I'm leaving a lot out of the equation. What do others think? Are banks going to invest in Y2K or upgrade to new systems? Honestly, I don't know the answer to this one. Anybody else have any answers? Jim
