Linda, You or anybody else may be able to answer my daughter's questions: (1) What 56k modem iMAC has built in? Is it V.90, k56flex or x2 technology? (2) Do I have to access to any specific port to get 56k speed? I have an Earthlink ISP account. However, my modem always links at either 26400 or 24000, I have not linked higher than 33600. (of course, it could be that my home phone line is less than perfect.) Rishi
