No, the pinging issue does not have anything to do with your problem. There is a bottle neck somewhere down the line from your ISP. I just pinged and my average time just a few seconds ago was 167ms. I can;t see that giving you problems with the "back" button. You said your message was posted once you made sure the preview box was not checked off. I have had similar problems posteing messages and that solved it as well. I am not farmiliar with AOL's browser. I use Netscape, and when I want to punish myself I use MS Explorer. I don't think I can help you. There should be someone here that can help, you just have to do some digging. Sorry man!! Later
