Mark, this has happened with regularity over the past 3 months. If we've learned anything, we've learned not to buy the open.

I used to think so, but it's not true. How many people do you think bought last week, trying to trade off the bottom, who will bail in a panic today (or who set stop loss orders)? And with very few buyers, it doesn't take many sellers to push these, or any, stocks down. If people are adding now, they should be looking to hold for the long term, because the short term is still very uncertain.

The good news.

Stanley Nabi, on cnbc, saying the os sector should offer the best profit potential from depressed levels.
