As you know in some of my earlier posts I have been getting information from a website called "inhollywood". This website is used by people in the industry to find out information regarding films in development, production, post production, and also information on directors, producers, and actors upcoming projects.
I sent them an email regarding Face Facts and asked them for any updates, since the last update regarding the movie was 7/24/98. I also asked them for any information on The Hell Candidate and Freak Talks About Sex.
My response was kind of interesting regarding The Hell Candidate and Freaks. They said that these 2 movies were not showing up on there radar screen until recently, and as they receive some substantial information they will e-mail me with the facts. In regards to Face Facts they said that everything is a go but they are still waiting on Peter Bogdanovich to sign the official contract, but they said it is still listed as one of his projects.
My one friend is a writer and just recently signed on with International Creative Mangement as his agents. This agency is one of if not the top entertainment agency's around. I will be getting together with him over labor day weekend and I have a list of all of NSKY's projects with all the actors/directors/producers for him to find out about. In the past, because of his family that is in the business he was able to find at about scripts being looked at and actors who have been signed on.
As Reason & Donster have been mentioning as well as myself, this company is well undervalued, and even more so with the acquisition of Leonard Shapiro.
Leonard Shapiro has a long history and a lot of experience in the entertainment business. He use to work for Avco Embassy Pictures in which he dealt with distribution and marketing for over 100 pictures. He did so well he was able to form his own company "Shapiro/Glickenhaus entertainment and market, distribute, produce, and direct. His company lasted for 12 years in which that is quite impressive for an independant company competing against all the heavyweight companies.
He was recently the executive producer of a movie called "The Arrival Agenda" set to be released anytime now. This movie is the follow up to the "Arrival" released in late 1996 starring Charlie Sheen.
We have a great thing here with NSKY. And think about this, with Leonard Shapiro signing on, its shows that this is a company ready to take off and one that has enormous potential.
