Well, after a year of following the market (mostly OTCs though), I think I'm finally starting to get smart. I've noticed that it is uncommon (much less than 50%) for news to come out on Day "X" when that is the expected date. How many times has news been expected and then actually come out when expected? Not so common by my observations.
About YESS, I said to myself, "Look, everybody's expecting news on Monday--why don't I wait until Monday is over with no news release, watch the selling, and then see if I find a good entry point?" So far, no news today and my guess is there won't be.
You were right to post the rumor about news, Jonathan, but like I say, it's just my observation that, with regard to timing (i.e., when the news will be made public), the rumors are often not very reliable.
