Tried to PM you but not able to as it doesn't come up on screen when I pulled up your profile.First time that's happened.Think you have to activate that area if you wish PMs. Anyway if you want a discount broker.Toronto-Dominion Bank[Branches all over Canada.]And certainly many in Calgary, have a Greenline Brockerage service that is very inexpensive and easy for you to accesss once you return to US.You would have to open an account with the bank as well.They have access from internet as well. Canada Trust also have similar service.CT is the one we use but not sure how they are from the US.They have a borderless account which charges much less for exchange rate conversions between Canadian and US dollars than the banks. Have fun in our fair city and good luck on your investments.If you golf try to get on at Kaninaskus[sic] about half hour from Calgary but fantastic course but hard to get reservations.
