Skipper,...........

>>Any ideas why the
market is behaving like this?<<<

Well yeah. "irrational exhuberance" started the whole thing<g>.

Seriously though, just take a look at a chart of IBM, INTC, MSFT etc. They have gone STRAIGHT up pretty much since the JULY shake-out.

Here's these BIG CAP, Blue Chip, "supposedly" boring stocks acting like an Iomega did in its' hayday.
We NEED this kind of shakeout for a healthy market.

As far as Ascend and USRX, they've ALWAYS been volatile. just the nature of the beast. I don't think there's anything to worry about, IN the LONG RUN.

You got the end-of-the-year stuff going on as well. Taxes, portfolio managers that are looking GREAT with HUGE % gains and of course would love to have the year, END NOW, so NEXT year they can advertise on CNBC, YES our Blah-Blah fund made a 30-40% return last year.

It'll all come out in the wash. I'm in the camp that this is the GREATEST market in history thusfar and I don't see anything to change that.... YET. Just my opinion.

Of course all it would take is for some unforseen occurance to change the whole thing. A war, terrorist nuke job, you know the picture. Possible, BUT not probable.

I like to trade and I'm loving the volatilty (most of the time<G>)
