You make a compelling case... but I don't believe in trying to time the market perfectly. It's just too hard to do. So I advised them to buy some now and some after 2-3 weeks. I mean, there *might* be a bounce tomorrow, the psychology is just too complicated to figure out. Nokia's P/E ratio is now under 30 and that's appealing from the 2001 point of view. Whether it dips to 65 or bounces to 75 this is a pretty good entry point.

The third quarter results are one day nearer every day and I think this is an important factor... Nokia is going to clean Ericsson's and Motorola's clocks in October and that should impact its stock price regardless of what is the next act in the Greek tragedy they are playing out in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Anyway, I told them about your angle... maybe they'll adopt you if there is a bloodbath.
