re: Dirty laundry.

>>Rohm, a long-time member of the computer press whose byline has
appeared in Ziff-Davis' PC Week and Inter@ctive Week, has managed
to ferret out memos from Microsoft executives previously
unavailable to the public. Gaps in the stories get filled in via
"insider" accounts from sources from California to Hamburg.<<

Allow me to play editor:

"Rohm, another high-tech freelancer with a handful of published trade-rag pieces, was given a number of copies of purported "memos" supposedly written by obviously brain-dead MSFT executives who were so stupid that they put their allegedly illegal activities down in writing to each other. Gaps in the stories get filled in via supposed "insider" accounts, rumor and innuendo from never-to-be-named "sources," much like those who keep cropping up in other "journalist's" stories).

Yada, yada, yada.
The beat goes on.

JMHO.

Mr. K.
