Thanks for the info, Randy.Doesn't have to shatter to matter. Chances seem good to me that a tape based digital VCR will eventually replace the present day household staple, and that may give AXC a nice royalty stream for many more years to come.
Not much to ponder on the DST - Legato news John ...but thanks for the link. And that was just an 810. DST has always been a unique combo of speed, capacity, and low cost per gig. Problem is not much demand for that massive storage as of yet. AXC will be offering a more complete package now in its attempts to enter other storage markets.
Was babbling on the board a few weeks ago about various stocks that leaped out of certain shaky experimental value screens. Didn't buy any, but I have been tracking them out of curiosity. A few have stayed steady in this market waterfall, but most have declined. Only one has advanced slightly ....... the one that abandoned its core flight entertainment business and bought a dry cleaning chain...lol. Ed, maybe a nice miniature golf course chain at a bargain price?
To the best of my limited knowledge, there has never been a severe prolonged US bear market without a depression or recession in the US. But this market - this economy- has indeed seemed " a first" in many ways. International recessions may stop short of pushing our economy into recession...but not short of creating a bear. For most stocks, of course....vis a vis their highs .... that is already well past happening. Feels like '94 to me.
I see we have hit 1. Porcupine alive and well. But not without company.
