Bloomberg "Trader's Notes" just said the underwriters of AMZN were mulling a downgrade this afternoon in light of market conditions, but they remain bullish on the stock long term. (you have to laugh at these penguins).

Looks like the money men are ready to capitulate on this one and the next support level is in the $40's.......I doubt that will hold.

More to follow as I get it, but ABSOLUTELY not too late to short this one. At some point there will be a "sucker's rally". traders should use any strength to double their short position.

The stock really has no value at this time. There are no earnings and the most recent acquisitions were with stock and will unravel rather quickly as the companies AMZN was "buying" find the equation has changed and they will not be getting as much for their companies as they thought.

Barnes and Noble.com is now the 8th company to announce they are going after AMZN. I doubt there will be anything to go after by the end of 1998.
