Don't any pundits dare say the U.S stocks are over-valued,'cos.... LoD: Looks like we are going to have to start afresh from where we started at the end of last year the gains for the year,both on the DOW and NASDAQ have been wiped out clean.Now hopefully nobody can say the U.S market is overvalued or can they??? As for DELL Off +17% off the 52 week's high P/E knocked off by 6 or 7 points ============================================== Monday August 31, 12:28 pm Eastern Time Dow, Nasdaq erase all of 1998's gains Dow, Nasdaq still near lows after sell-off accelerated, erasing all gains for year. Dow off 148 points at 7904, below 7908 level at year-end '97. Nasdaq off 73 at 1567, started year at 1570. S&P off 24 at 1006, still above year starting point at 970. U.S. Treasuries turn higher by midday. Long-bond up 5/32 to yield 5.33 pct.
