I think you got your defense lines screwed up, mrknowitall. The email trail has been brought up before, the correct defense is that it was "colorful language" between "relatively junior executives". Junior like Cole, Maritz, Ballmer. As to the brain-dead part, I would never say anything like that. Though maybe it's true, they don't seem to have been keeping up with Bill's prescient plans driving the internet forward, starting in 1991, spearheaded by secret #2 J Allard.
