DD- In re: "Sadly, it looks like the market is in collapse." It
does appear that the Pavlovian "buy on the dip" crowd may
be in disarray, if not un-nerved. There are those I know who
have expressed forebodings about this market for some little
while as they had noted that big players were seemingly sel-
ling into any developing rallies. Their expressed fears now
seem quite prescient in retrospect, at least, at this point in
time.

On this board, a wise soul whose name presently escapes
memory remarked that- given Brinker's dismissal of New Era
thinkers, disabusal of those seeking 30%+ returns per annum,
and admonition that the market would likely revert to the mean
of ca. 10% growth- the market, it follows, would require a
severe correction to satisfy Brinker's own pronouncements
and reify the implications.
