(Hope they don't mind me quoting from the free trial I just received.)

"FOR YOUR INFORMATION: We believe these Canadian bank stocks are oversold, at this time, and are likely to stage a minor recovery this week. The Canadian dollar also appears to have signaled an important reversal signal on Thursday and Friday. A Thursday and Friday rush out of the US dollar and into
other major currencies (Swiss Franc, German Mark, Japanese Yen, Canadian Dollar, Australian Dollar) leads us to believe that the US dollar has been intentionally weakened to the benefit of the above currencies. Reversal patterns in the above currencies were confirmed on Friday, which might spell a strong rally in non-US equity markets this week."
If the US lowers interest rates to get the market moving up again, then the CD$ should recover somewhat. Maybe the bottom is in.
