As true as that seemingly is, I am haunted by a study published a couple of months ago by Stocks and Commodities magazine which, after studying the last 25 years of data, reached several conclusions, the most overwhelming of which was that September, not October was the worst month of any year for the stock market. As much as I hope that sept came a month early, I am braced for the normal chronology. I apologize for not having the link to the article as I refer from memory, but here is a link to their website. fwiw
