I was responding to Pauls claim that Clinton diddled while Wall Street burned. But you're right, the stock market in 1988 was over 100% of when Reagan started in 81.

Hah, I'm not going to get into a full discussion of the relative strength of the economic policies of the various Presidents. Paul Volker and Alan Greenspan both praised Clinton in 93 for his budget reduction proposals. Go argue with them about who gets the credit if you want.
