No, I think Zolt's point is well taken. The only plausible explanation for the "disconnect" in Clinton's job performance numbers and personal opinion numbers is directly related to a large percentage of Americans with the attitude of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" as it relates to the market and the economy in general. Once the realization comes that there is no "painless" way to resolve the Clinton Chronicles (Starr's report) and the attendant roiling of the markets, opinion will change swiftly. His job approval numbers are the last remaining leg of the chair he's balancing his presidency on, when they tank, he's gone. bp
