With the blue chips tanking due to big p/es, great value plays are OMX and BOP. Both companies have great fundamentals and went through significant corrections to where their P/Es are almost single digit.
OMX has practically no international exposure, a growth rate of about 20%, a P/E of approx. 10 and sells a recession proof product, office products. OMX also has significantly reduced their SKUs of PCs which was their only drawback. The stock has corrected 46% from its April 98 high of 19 1/4. Its corrected 39% since its July 15 price of 17 1/4.
As value becomes more important in stocks, both should be great investments.
