Mephisto clicked the "X" in the upper corner of his screen, not even bothering to sign out properly. Didn't these people realize that he had spent half the night writing that chapter?
"Screw those morons," he thought, "If they can't recognize a real story line."
Searching the cupboards, Mephisto found what he was looking for. Under the sink, in a bottle whose label had long ago peeled off from the humidity, was that gallon jug of Ernest and Julio Gallo his Uncle Ed had given him for Christmas a year ago. "I need to get really drunk."
