I disagree. The equips still have a long long way to fall. Sad to say. But things are quite grim, worldwide. Who will buy a bunch of semi mfging equipment now ? Korea on brink of collapse has DRAM fabs churning and burning to compete with the Japanese who are doing the same. The over-capacity issue must be worked out. Then when the lines have shutdown or converted and surplus hardware has been sold off to others or for scrap, the requirements for new equipment can bubble to the surface and start the growth phase again. Still too early for the equips to shine. Gird thy loins, this is a biggee. Think 74ish. The sun will shine again but not soon. I'd wait for vociferous blasphemic invectives to be pelting this thread before I'd call it a turn.
