What damage will this collapse do to the value of 'THE AMAZON BRAND NAME' that has ben so loudly touted as being worth huge expenditures and losses? Will Amazongonenutty.com become as well known for being a speculative blunder of a stock as it is for being a book seller? I think that a good portion of the recent notoriety and sales success of NZMA has been due to tons of free publicity the company has gotten as the hot 'stock of the decade'. People, Americans especially, LOVE to glom onto the latest fad or hot ticket item. How quickly will Amazon's image now be tarnished and turn to scorn or at least a willingness to check out the new "club" in town? The problem with go-go stocks is that their reputation precedes them. Soon they are gone-gone just like last years' hot night-spot or trendy fashion. I say Amazon.con has lost far more than a quick taking down in the stock price. "Amazon's yesterday's story - it's not cool anymore."
