The motel clerk eyed Mex suspiciously. It wasn't often he saw someone carrying a naked young lady into his office. He tried hard not to stare to intently at the young lady. Well, OK .. maybe he didn't try very hard .... After Mex sucessfully checked in to the motel, he carried Muffy over to room number 6. That was her room. He dropped her unceremoniously on the bed and walked to his room. Mex's room was number 9. "Isn't that interesting?" thought Mex. "6 and 9. Inverted numbers. How odd. Ha! An unintentional joke!" he murmured, as he realized that both 6 and 9 are odd numbers. "I wonder what other significance could be made of those two numbers?" he thought, as he undressed to take his shower. Back in room 6, Muffy woke up and tuned in to CNN. "Good grief!" she thought, as she watched the market summary for the day. "Down over 500 points!" She then stumbled into the shower, thinking "it sure was convenient to be naked". After she was through showering and washing her hair, she dried off with the cheap towels hanging on the shower door. She walked back into the bedroom. It was then that she realized she had no clothes to wear. "Oh, goodness ... now what?" she thought.
