Sonny: I agree that pretty soon buyers will return to the market for quality stocks at fair prices. It may need one more bad day though. Watching this sort of bloodbath is not pleasant but in 12/18 months I suspect this will look to be just a significant blip on a continuing upward trend. I also think its better to get the hit out of the way rather than suffer 2-3 years of a gradually declining market. I think investors in general are more sophisticated than in 87 and will not sell at the low out of panic but wait for the recovery that will inevitably come. Good luck!
