Entertainment Programming Pioneer Mark Graff Named CEO of American Interactive Media
James Stokes Hatch Named COO
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 31, 1998-- American Interactive Media, Inc. (OTC BB: AIME - news; aime-inc.com), developer of the webPASSPORT Network, an innovative Internet and telephony service delivered to televisions, and a developer of digital content and entertainment networks, announced today that AIME President and Director Mark Graff, founder of Graff Pay-Per-View Inc. (GPPV) and a pioneer in creating networks and programming for new distribution platforms, has been named Chief Executive Officer of American Interactive Media. Mr. Graff assumes the position of CEO from Peter B. Yunich who has resigned as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer to spend more time with his family and pursue other interests. The position of Chairman of the Board will remain vacant on an interim basis. In addition, James Stokes Hatch, Executive Vice President of AIME, has assumed the title of Chief Operating Officer, a new position at the Company. Mr. Yunich's departure reduces the size of AIME's Board of Directors to three members.
Mr. Graff is most noted for the groundbreaking success of Graff Pay-Per-View which he founded in 1987 and headed as President and COO through 1995. In addition to GPPV's successful and widely recognized ''Spice'' service, Mr. Graff has been an innovator in launching programming through emerging distribution platforms. His company introduced the first localized file servers to deliver hit movies through Cable Video Store (CVS), and he was involved in the first video dialtone trials.

Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Mr. Graff produced and distributed entertainment programming in the event, music and theater areas for premium cable services such as Showtime and HBO. His prior corporate experience includes tenures with Lexington Broadcast Services (LBS) and K-Tel.
