Well, Dorine, today was not fun...but a few things do come to mind... (1) I am glad that I do not hold internet highflyers....I think they will struggle to get back to their all-time highs (2) The point loss (today) hurts only if you had to sell (got called on margin) (3) Dell's fundamentals never looked better... As much as today stinks, I would be much more worried about a Dell-specific problem affecting the stock....All the generals (Cisco, Microsoft, Dell) got taken out today...when the dust clears from this (what I will term over-reaction), I firmly believe that buyers will look for companies with real strong earnings history and growth potential....That is Dell, Microsoft, Cisco........ Remember earlier this year, Dell price drops from 98.25 to 77 or 118 to 99...they were but distant memories when we were at 129......I feel good about us getting there again...and this little slide will be but a big bad memory....
