Take heart investors, all is not lost. Remember the old adage, an open position is never a loss! I know this won't help the pain much for those of you who still believe in this stock, but according to someone very close to the source, when ASSensio launched his yellow journalism campaign on this stock, the deal was set to be announced the very next day. How do I know this? I'm sorry but I cannot tell you. Someone told me.
Had it not been for ASSensio and his carefully orchestrated timing, all of this devastation could have been avoided. What sucks is that we were THAT close and he knew it and he still wiped us out just so several professional shorters wouldn't lose their a$$es when the news hit. You can either believe this information or not; I don't care. And it makes no difference if I can prove it or not cause all of this is heresay anyway as I'm sure some of you will be quick to point out anyway. It won't make a hill of beans difference now, other than the satisfaction of knowing that you were right all along. I feel sorry for everyone involved, especially Darby.
The amazing thing is that no one walked away from the table, despite the horrendous accusations! All parties that were negotiating on the deal are still there, only I'm pretty sure they can't sign while the company is under class actions (it's written in the bylaws of the companies involved). Therefore, the news that the largest and most important law firm has dropped the case is fantastic! Now, if we could just get the other investors or law firms to drop theirs, it would be good for all involved. This is a plea to those of you out their who think you will ever get anything by the lawsuit route: Drop your suits, you're holding up the deal, which is all you really want anyway, besides the price back up. But that will follow once the major distribution pact is announced. It will happen and the truth will eventually be known, just like with Bill Clinton and Monica. I know everyone didn't want to believe that, but now we know the truth. Believe me, I know the above is true, but only in time will the truth be known. I'm sure some of you will put me down for saying what I think, but it won't be the first time or the last time that I have spoken my mind.
Once again, you were right Darby, you told the truth. It's just too bad that due to the incredible circumstances, no one may know the truth but you and your staff! I hope all will be resolved in court soon and you will be vindicated.
