Westfort is one tough customer. Consider, the TSE is getting the crap kicked out of it and yet WT is holding fairly well. Not to mention, month -end margin selling. There simply isn't that much volume so these sideways moves aren't that bothersome. I hear of a deal to JV the Smackover gas. The nearby gas plant is running well below capacity and are very interested in having the gas from WT's smackover zone. Rumour has it that the gas plant's owners are currently doing a deal for financing of several (3) wells into the smackover and pipelines. Texans were turned-down on their opening offer and have gone back to the drawing table. Expect a new offer shortly. No word on talks with Texaco.... yet. You have to consider, this is one of, if not the largest undeveloped US reserves left on the continent. There is going to be action on this stock as the Texaco's et al position themselves for security of supply. Tuesday we rally. Regards, AL.
