It doesn't matter if it continues to free fall or not. Scam stocks will always seek their true value. That's why my shorts did well even when the market was rising (especially my Y2K shorts). As far as the general market is concerned, I really don't think it's the end of the world. I believe a lot of the big caps will snap back (if cautiously - though I have no way of picking a bottom), and I also believe that if you have a 10 to 20 year outlook - that this will be one of the fire-sale opportunities of a lifetime in the developed overseas markets (Europe, Japan, etc.)
