Richion left his VP job as of June 30, but is coming on as a director starting in October (assuming ratification by the stockholders). This is probably a good use of his expertise, especially if he is happier retired.

On ASCOM, they are also allowed to buy stock. I haven't (and won't) examine the legal instrument of the trust, but it wouldn't surprise me if they are now holding as many shares as they can under the trust. In other words, they may have been net buyers since April, supporting the price. That could explain the discrepancy in the numbers.

There is one niggling worry raised to me by the filing. Until late October, this company is more subject to a hostile takeover (at a too low price) than later. That could put some urgency into any potential acquirer. At present prices for biometric companies, any likely giant predator could buy up several good candidates instead of just one.
