You don't sound pessimistic. My response was to "what if" the stock/market shows strength and the price rises....then we might see others sell. I would expect to see shorters covering until they saw upward movement.

I hope this market rebounds a little after the 500 pt loss...it did the other dark moments in market history. I would expect people to be very cautious.
