Im going out on a ledge, but I think were done going down. the small investor has not been fazed. the idiot moneey managers panicked. My reasons are as follows.
1)fundimentally nothing has changed in the US economy. The economy is not perfect but a reccession is nonsense. The USA backbone is still construction. This is going strong, lower interest rates will help.
a) these people are furnishing and buying home supplies. This will maintain consumer spending
2)Japan has bottomed. they realize they must act rapidly now, and have begun to do so. The Japanese market has sustained itself, showing the Japanese belief things will get better. Meanwhille China, and Korea in fine shape(not perfect)
3) Nobody ever expects the rebound, so why should we?
4)Clintons trip will calm fears of Russia and some silly pact will be made
5)Stock prices for 2nd tier are super cheap, they are begginning to look tempting.
6)Rubin will imply Intrest rates will come down to calm market.
7)After hours buying was sighn that panicked selling was done.

I still think we will be down in the mourning, but I think we have bottomed.
