Technically, Dixon and Mendocino should run at the same clock speed, but Intel may position the DIXON as a notebook CPU - which may limit it's clock speed due to market positioning.

The larger L2 cache of the Dixon (256 KiloBytes) will enable it to outperform an equivalently clocked Mendocino for those applications that require a larger code and/or data cache than the 128 KiloByte cache of the Mendocino.
