Thread,
In case you missed it yesterday because of the market tumble, DY announced very strong earnings. Looks like the telecom/cable network upgrade business is still going strong. But for now, the market doesn't care.

August 31, 1998 - $27-5/8 Today, the market didn't care if you beat analyst expectations, they sold everything. Dycom (DY) reported fourth quarter earnings per share of $0.47 which was $0.06 ahead of analyst expectations. Sales for the quarter grew 14 percent over the prior year's period, while earnings per share increased 23.7 percent. I continue to remain positive on Dycom and reiterate my $36 price target. Stock appears that its downside risk levels may be around the $25 per share range.
