I see. But why would they not try to play thinly traded Globex hoping to affect the small investor's sentiment? The media are certainly using it prominently this morning to cheer up the crowd. But my feeling is that the buy-the-dips paradigm is dead for the moment.

In any case, should be an interesting day.
