Hello John,
I have always dabbled in spirituality, since my father died when I was ten. However, it wasnt until a couple of years ago that I began to take it more seriously.
My beliefs are a sort of amalgamation of different philosphies and thought processes that borrow from many different sources. As I hav said before, I have a lot of respect for the Judeo-Christian teachings. I just dont accept all of it. I also have respect for many other thought prcesses including New Age(I hate saying that, as most people start to snicker at this point:-) ) But I rarely accept anything in its entirety.
I try to read as much as possible, and if it makes sense to me, I try to dig into it a little deeper. My philospohies are hardly a finished product, but more of a work in progress. Hopefully, they will alwas continue to evolve and grow. that is why I like these discussions, I like having my thoughts challenged, as it gives me an opportunity to examine them from different directions and see if I still hold them as tightly when I am finished.
