All,

After receiving several requests from Compaq thread posters, I have added CPQ to the study of how the open interest distribution of a stock may affect the price of the stock on option's expiration day. The study, and the calculation of the stock price that would yield the maximum number of option contracts expiring worthless, is called the Max-Pain&#153 analysis.

Using last night's CBOE data, the CPQ Sep'98 Max-Pain&#153 options analysis is now posted.

The Max-Pain Point&#153 for CPQ is at $32.50, CPQ closed at $27 15/16
