Just a bad day on my part. You are absolutely correct about all of this not mattering in the long term. That's where I am at. I did participate in the offering, have my share certificates and will be in this for the next 5-10 years. I learned some valuable lessons from another small cap that has incredible technology but didn't have the leadership rowing in the same direction. They are in chapter 11 now and the officers and board are attempting to steal the company assets and technology from the investors by going into chapter 7. Look up the story behind this fiasco at www.ildf.com if you have time. Makes an interesting read.

Now, having given the downs of small cap investing, let me say that my lack of continuous due diligence was my downfall with the other company. The prime consideration I had for HST, once I understood the technology, was to see a group of executives with impeccable credentials and a proven history of execution. I firmly believe that HST's executives fit the bill.

It is hard not to look at the day-to-day activities of HST ( especially when bulletin boards like this provide instant feedback mechanisms ). But I believe it is best to take the occasional hysteria with a grain of salt and focus on the long-term. Having said that, I will almost assuredly not follow my own advice. ;-) Human nature and all of that. I will maintain a long-term investment outlook for this stock but will probably dissect the day-to-day business as much as anyone else.
