GAZARELLA Doomsday ? Did anyone else get barraged with Elaine G's doomsday hype (appropriately timed to land near FRI 13 and the Exuberance speech)? Myself and my father both got this (no doubt IBD is selling their mailing list). She claims this is the start of the bear. However she tried making this call last summer in July when a good downdraft occurred and it did not pan out. She claims she has called every bear and bull market in the last 20 years ... but she didnt call July right so lost much credibility. She uses 14 key indicators to make her calls. Does anyone have an opinion about this latest call ? IMHO we may be due for a correction but not a crash. Interest rates are too low. However cash positions are low in mutuals etc etc. Opinions , Steve
