Based on which product (gate density)you say >>>Altera will far and away kick Xilinx's butt in '97. <<<< Their main revenue is from MAX devices and PLDs which is not competing with XLNX directly. What do you think of AMD's latest CPLD which competes with MAX9000 how much they are going to lose to AMD if any? Is it possible for Altera to lose its SRAM market to XLNX and MAX market to AMD, LSCC and ACTEL?
