Hugh, don' get me wrong, I didn't ride the wave to the top, I sold Presstek at 127 the second time and Iomega I sold at 36 after the split, but I was out by the crash so I was happy. These stocks didn't rise up out of just hype, they are both still really good stocks and presstek should grow through the next decade, but at the time they are way overvalued. The rest of my portfolio is pretty basic, but i bought at great times. Just about 6-8 weeks ago I bought lrcx at 24,sold at 36, nvls at 38 sold at 61, amat at 24 and I still have it at about 35, and klac at 18 and I still have it at 34? I bought CPQ at 38 this past summer and sold at 75 and 81. I've had a few losers too but they were pretty cheap stocks. I'm looking at a stock called hanson plc (han). I would like to have bought at 6 1/2 last week, but I'm top heavy with ampex. Also Opti is at rock bottom right now and undervalued for its price, it could be a good buy soon. I trade through Quick & Reilly. Half my porfolio is ampex and ampex options, I have a real strong feeling on this one.
