Speaking of availability, there's only 12 vendors on Pricewatch that have the Mendocino chips, and they are mostly at 20% over q1000 price. Intel's not making many of these -- they wouldn't want to wreck their high average price, would they? (42 vendors advertise the PII-450 released the same day)
