They tried to squeeze the speculators by playing the markets, and people knew that. This is the sole purpose of doing this to stabilize the market. The market will be much normal when the big players are out. They are sometimes the markets. Check the news on that day from Yahoo side. Actually, it does not matter to know how they did it. I can speculate based on my experience. If you are interested, read my past posts to see how I would have done that if I were them.
