Rockets: It is my understanding, from discussions with Reynolds, that he is negotiating all three projects at this time (now with the very experienced assistance of Shapiro). Difficult to say which one will have a PR next. I expected the distribution deal for "Freak.." to be the first PR, because it is so close to being ready and it is receiving so much interest (from October Films, Sony and others).
Obviously from the Variety coverage, etc., that "Face Facts" is getting, they are close to an announcement there, as well (IMO, announcing financing deal, probably with Winchester Entertainment, and maybe including Bagdonovich as director). Reynolds said on several occasions that negotiating movie deals is a methodical, painstaking process which takes patience from all concerned.
The Shapiro PR on "The Hell Candidate" was a pleasant surprise but, again, not what I anticipated. It certainly enforces the fact that NSKY is moving forward on all three current projects as well as looking at additional future films.
NSKY will not be a one PR spike, fall back stock. The multiple projects bodes well for the long-term future of the company and its shareholders. |
