Fear and Greed. Right now they (brokers/WS) want to fan the flames of FEAR. Global depression, nuclear holocaust, unemployment, lowered earnings... They want you to sell at the low, panic, bail. They will gladly step up and snatch up every share the poor lemmings dump. WS/investment banks make most of their dough on the flow. If it's up or down they make their money. The worst situation is a flat market. They may seem worried but they eat this up.
