Steven: Thanks for highlighting the difference between the two.That difference is not quite relevant because Boeing's action are short term and have long term value.

Both companies BA and CS suffer from depressed share valuations. BA is getting flak from its shareholders and is acting to correct its short term share price.

If CS is confident that it has increasing revenue and Income, it makes
sense to adopt the same strategy as BA. A reader has stated that because of CS's latest acquisition that cannot be done.
