IMPORTANT NOTICE
FOR ALL SHAREHOLDERS
OF AMAZON NATURAL TREASURES, INC. HOLDING
RESTRICTED STOCK!
It has been brought to our attention that a Company called, Wellrich, has been contacting shareholders holding restricted stock in Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc. even though we have asked all shareholders to notify us immediately if Wellrich has been in contact with you. Please see enclosed letter dated May 21, 1998. The Company, Wellrich, is not a licensed brokerage house. From what is understood, they are a boiler room telemarketing operation. Due to the fact that this Company, Wellrich, has been contacting our shareholders and pressuring our shareholders into selling their stock to cover the illegal short position that has been created by unscrupulous, cheating, and non-law abiding individuals, the Company has taken the following measures to stop this illegal manipulation of Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc.'s securities:
1. Until further notice, an administrative "Company
Stop Transfer" has been placed on all restricted
shares.
2. No stock will be transferred until after ALL COURT
ORDERS have been served on the appropriate
people that are involved with this illegal shorting.
It is very unfortunate that some of you have been taken in by blatant lies that Wellrich is spreading in regards to Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc. and its products. Contrary to what Wellrich is saying, Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc.'s TOUCH OF NATURE(TM) is a
"real" product and is selling on store shelves across the country. New stores are being added to this list on a daily basis. Please refer to the Amazon Natural Treasures, Inc.'s WEBSITE:

You will find that the implementation of the WEBSITE OF THE FUTURE is under way! Also, sample boxes of the Company's product HairLifeTM are at selected hair care salons and will be available to the general public in late September 1998.
Please be advised that since none of your stock was transferred, you personally will not be held in a short position unless you yourselves broke the LAW by selling unregistered restricted securities. If you have been manipulated into selling unregistered restricted securities by Wellrich, an unlicensed brokerage house, please immediately forward to us a signed notarized affidavit stating the facts surrounding Wellrich pressuring you into performing this illegal act of short selling so that we may in turn forward your affidavit to our SEC Attorneys for the appropriate measures.
You will be informed via US MAIL as to the date that, once again, normal transfer activities will commence.
Your cooperation in this matter is mandatory so that we may facilitate the Attorney's request of action. Therefore, being able to release the "Transfer Freeze" as soon as possible.
