The info on the Texas rate increase was on the bill a few months ago. Was looking for info & found a pr from MCI from last year, seems GTE charges or charged 11 cents a minute to the long distance co for access so........it may be GTE & Southwestern Bell who are keeping the rates up in Texas. Looks like it is. It's a bummer. I will say this, the people at the 800 # don't explain it too well. You wouldn't know it from them.
