Up til today Vans was pretty much trending down with its peers:

techstocks.com

Today was different one assumes because the 10k scared some people with its rising inventories (28mil Vs 23mil) and talk of
difficult times in the industry.

Still, at well below book value and only 5 and 1/2 times next years earnings (if they hold up) it seems like a spectacularly bad time to sell. Now where is that buyback when you need it...
